5 powerful curiosity posts that convert to sales...

Ok well it's a day in the life of an entrepreneur LOL because if you're planning to watch the video below I'll warn you - it's full blown glitchy. This is the life of an entrepreneur who lives out in the country and the closest tower goes down HA!

But here's the thing - it's some great content so I wasn't going to just let it go. Things aren't always going to go as planned but it's how you handle it that counts... Roll with the punches baby!

So I have added show notes below in case the glitchiness annoys you - BUT I will say I did my best to add some fun to the video. Either way, let's get into it it...

We chat about putting the curiosity in your posts to get your clients engaged and asking questions. 5 powerful curiosity posts that convert to sales - Episode 108

Since the video above is so glitchy I'm going to review the tips here as show notes for those who can't tolerate the glitchiness LOL - what can you do am I right HA!

What is a curiosity post?

Any post you put out should contain 3 elements: 1) The visual (photo, video etc) 2) A captivating hook (fyi get my FREE Hooks Guide below) and 3) The copy or the compelling story.

These 3 things determine whether the reader will take any sort of action like follow you, read more, like, comment, message you, buy etc.

The Visual is pretty much always the first thing they will see so it has to be a scroll stopper. Something that gets them interested to take a quick peak in those first 2 seconds.

The Hook is the next 3-5 seconds where they determine if they are going to stick around and read more. If you don't get this part right, you will definitely lose your audience. I have over 100 Hook Ideas that you can download FREE below.

The Copy or Story is the part that captures their emotions. This is where you can relate to the people that you are talking to. Where they decide if they want more from you - whether it's to follow, comment, DM you, or buy.

Now that we have covered the elements of a post, lets review specifically what a CURIOSITY post is as it relates to your business/network marketing.

Now that you have their attention, it's time to tell the story. This is where you share your excitement, experience, and story but we WILL NOT talk about the name of the products.

There are many reasons you don't want to name the company you are with or the products they have. 1) They can go to google and be misinformed, by from someone else, or buy from the company directly. 2) If they go to google you don't get paid. 3) If they go to google they may choose an option that's not ideal for them or not get the best deal etc.

Get them CURIOUS with your excitement, visual, and the story you can share with them. This can be your story, a clients story, a teammates story, or something from the company you're with - it doesn't have to be yours. This curiosity will get them commenting or messaging you with questions.

5 Powerful Curiosity Posts That Convert To Sales Really Well!

1) The Celebration:

Celebrate a client or team member reaching a goal or a milestone with their journey or business and do it on your personal feed.

It's also great to tag them because it's going to prompt them to respond and it will then be fed to their friends, family etc. Talk about how grateful you are to have them on this journey with you, how proud you are of xyz, get excited with them and celebrate.

Do not put a call to action! Let the post speak for itself and let people naturally ask their questions and celebrate this person.

2) The Before & After:

Share a before and after of yourself, a client, team member, or someone from your company.

This does NOT need to be about weightloss. Results come from so many areas. Think outside the box and simply share the way things were/felt etc before and the way they are now. Maybe it's financial, a specific body part due to pain, injury, or even something like make-up, could be time related, hair, talents etc.

3) The Referral Program:

Create a referral program for all of your clients as an incentive to share.

Your clients don't get paid to share, but if you create a referral program and offer, lets say a $25 Amazon gift card, now they do get paid. Ask them to share their results on their personal wall to inspire others and share their story. You can even provide them a basic script to use if they need it. Let them know for every person that is referred you will give them your incentive reward.

Again, a call to action is not needed. Let their excitement spur the interest and comments. Your client can then tell any interested parties that you will reach out to them to share details and answer questions.

4) The Shocking Photo or Boomerang

Movement when scrolling captures attention big time. Using a boomerang to showcase a before and after or result s powerful!

There are boomerang apps or you can use IG stories and download it as well if the vertical style works for you. You can also choose a photo that is shocking to grab their attention.

5) Reel with a Captivating Headline on the Cover

Let's face it reels are hot stuff right now. Make your reels even more interesting by using a cover that has a headline that gets them curious to watch.

This cover will be seen in the feed and can quickly grab attention.

3 Extra Tips To Help You With Your Content And Conversations:

At the end of this incredibly powerful episode I also shared the valuable tips to help you even more with your content.

All the tips I've shared here WILL get you attention BUT it will ONLY work if you are talking to the right people so....

#1) Get crystal clear on your audience and who you're talking to!

You won't get anyone curious ever if they don't understand the content you're putting out. So you need to know who that specific person is that you're trying to reach.

#2) Be more specific with your content copy/story!

Don't speak general language. Dig deep and get vulnerable and share the emotion. What it felt like, your state of mind, how it feels now. Tap into specific stories so you can truly relate to people rather than keeping it general in nature.

#3) Have fun with all of it including your conversations!

Seriously, freaking have some fun! If building your business isn't fun you're doing something very wrong and you're going to get burnt out. We can not just obsess about the sale with every conversation and post. Put your personality out there. If you are quirky or have a funny, weird side - let it show! And do it in the conversations too. Be someone they like talking to and they want to hang out with. Our conversations aren't always about facts or figures - keep it simple and fun!
